The Pain and Palliative Care and GI/Liver/Nutrition PRNs will co-present “Nutrition Support Considerations for Palliative Care, Hospice, and End of Life.” This session will include discussion on the use of enteral and parenteral nutrition support in palliative care, hospice, and end of life situations; clinical outcomes related to malnutrition in palliative care, hospice, and end of life; a review of professional society ethical guidelines for clinicians; and discussion on routine and refractory or intractable symptom management in this setting.
