This comprehensive review focuses on the intersection between cardiovascular health and oncological practices, aiming to unravel the complexities and challenges faced by providers in managing patients undergoing cancer treatment. With the ever-growing list of FDA approved anticancer therapies, the mitigation of pertinent side effects, especially those of cardiovascular origin, heavily impact patient centric outcomes. Pharmacists are key advocates for patient safety who are poised to assess medication regimens to anticipate and prevent adverse cardiovascular effects.
