As health care in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries moves toward a more patient-centric model, clinical pharmacists are playing an increasingly important role in providing quality care to patients. The GCC Pharmaceutical Congress, to be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health on September 14–17 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), aims to advance the quality of patient care services in the Gulf.
