BPS Extends Deadline for Applications for 2022–2023 PGY2 Pharmacy Residency Research Grants

The deadline for receipt of Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) applications for two 2022–2023 BPS seed grants has been extended through August 19, 2022. Incoming 2022–2023 PGY2 pharmacy residents and preceptors planning to conduct research projects involving BPS board certification are encouraged to apply. Selected grant recipients will be announced in September 2022.

Applicants can review the application instructions here and submit materials at https://www.research.net/r/2022-2023BPSSeedGrant.

Two funding opportunities of up to $5000 each are available for projects highlighting the impact of pharmacist board certification on:

  1. Improved medication-related outcomes for patients;
  2. Perceived value of pharmacist specialization across key stakeholder groups (e.g., patients, payers, physicians, and other health care providers); or
  3. Successful integration of board-certified pharmacist specialists into institutional credentialing and privileging processes.
