Join ACCP for its second Webinar on test-taking skills and board certification examinations. This Webinar will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (EST).

The Webinar will be available for 3.0 contact hours of live continuing education credit and will focus on preparing for and skillfully completing board examinations. The first hour will be dedicated to how standardized tests are written and constructed, how to develop appropriate techniques for answering standardized questions more accurately, how to identify common testing “pitfalls” that may be hurting your performance, and how to analyze your testing performance to improve accuracy, pacing, and endurance. The second 2 hours will be dedicated to application of these skills using a variety of new case-based questions. This workshop is designed for clinical pharmacists preparing to take any of the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties examinations as well as for faculty members interested in learning more about standardized test development.

This online workshop will be presented by Martin and Jane Jolley, nationally recognized experts in standardized exam preparation, who have been helping residents and students review and prepare for Medical Licensure Examinations for over 25 years. More than 3000 residents and students have taken their courses with a success rate well above 90%. The Jolleys have assisted residents and medical students in a variety of therapeutic areas, and they have worked and developed programming for the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of California at San Francisco, Davis, and Los Angeles.

The cost for participation is only $149.95 for participants of the first Test-Taking Webinar (held in February), $199.95 for ACCP members, and $299.95 for nonmembers. Please note that participation in the Webinar is limited to 200 registrants.
